Our website does not use cookies. We do not store any personal information from your visit to our website in order to provide you with relevant content. We do collect anonymous statistical information so that we can track the number of website visitors, the pages visitors have visited and the country those visitors are from. We process your contact information to manage your bookings to our services and to contact you to confirm the details of your bookings or to cancel or request a refund for your booking.

We use your contact information to market our courses, classes and events through our newsletter that you have specifically signed up for.

However, in exceptional circumstances, where there is a significant risk to your health and wellbeing or the health and wellbeing of another person or to comply with the law, we may need to disclose information to a third party, for example, to a law enforcement agency. If you use the Eventbrite booking service, your personal contact information is stored within the Eventbrite database. We do not use your Eventbrite booking email for our mailing list.

 

Retention of personal information

The information provided by you will be held for a period of time while you continue to access the relevant service. This information is securely destroyed at the end of the service, for example, if you ask us to remove you from our mailing list.

Jampel Buddhist Centre uses a third party provider, Vertical Response, to deliver our e-newsletters. Statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies including clear gifs help us to monitor and improve our e-newsletter.

Photos taken during Jampel Centre’s Events

Images may be captured during events organised and hosted by Jampel Buddhist Centre using film photography, digital photography, video or other medium and may be used on the website, event publicity or brochures, other publicity material (such as internal and external newsletters), and may be provided to the media for publication in local or national newspapers or magazines and other resources. Jampel Kadampa Buddhist Centre acknowledges its responsibilities in capturing images by photography or other means under applicable law.
