Letting go of Fear, Anxiety & Panic Residential Retreat
So many people these days suffer due to anxiety, fear and even panic. In the face of so much daily bad news, and all our own personal uncertainties, is it actually possible to let go of these painful emotions and states of mind?
According to Buddha, yes it is!
During this weekend residential retreat, through talks and guided meditations, as well as discussion, James Baskerville will show how we can begin to establish a peaceful place in our mind, a place of inner refuge. Gaining experience of this will enable us not only to let go of these painful emotions, but also to respond confidently and creatively to those situations that normally induce fear in us. This will point the way to how we can live fearlessly and joyfully, and hence be of real benefit to others, even when surrounded by challenging situations.
About Residential Retreat: A residential weekend retreat is an ideal opportunity to reflect and establish the basis for positive change.
This weekend residential retreat will be guided by KMC Kent Principal Teacher James Baskerville, who has extensive retreat experience. James will guide practical and deceptively simple meditations on Buddha’s psychology of transformation. Through applying these timeless methods, we will learn to let go of any negative minds, such fear, anxiety or insecurity and develop the confidence to bring about the new version of ourself that we have always longed for.
You will also relax in the peaceful setting of The Friars, learn to connect with your heart and with like-minded people, all working together to develop the qualities that really matter.
