How to be fearless in an uncertain world
In this half-day course, learn to let go of fear and anxiety!
When: Sat 18th January 2025, 10am to 1pm
Venue: Wye Village Hall, Bridge St, Wye, Ashford TN25 5EA (free on-site parking available)
We experience so much anxiety and fear in our minds these days. We know this. These are challenging times. And now some good news: it is possible to become completely fearless, even in such an unstable and sometimes frightening world.
Buddha pinpoints the actual source of our fear. As it turns out, it is not within our environment and external conditions, but within our mind. Through learning to skillfully apply Buddhist meditation we can learn to clearly identify this inner source of our problems and begin to diminish it. Through training, we learn to replace our self-made fears with a deep inner peace. This in turn serves as the springboard for skillful action with which to respond to our various challenges.
In this half-day course, Chelvi will help us see how we can authentically transform our fear. We will learn how to take refuge in our peaceful nature. As we become more secure in this practice we become more confident and courageous in dealing with whatever comes our way.
