Discover the power of meditation and living mindfully to find a deeper sense of joy, inner purpose and meaning in our everyday life.
In this series – perfect both for newcomers and those with more experience – we will explore the relationship between meditation, happiness and a deeper sense of purpose in our lives. We will learn how Buddhist meditation teaches everyone how to access and maintain inner peace and joy, even when experiencing difficulties. Connecting to the natural peace and joy within our mind opens us up to recognising and identifying with the potential for happiness and other good qualities that exist within each and everyone of us.
This empowers us with a sense of purpose in our life, an inner drive to actualise our extraordinary potential so that we can be of real benefit to our family, friends and everyone throughout our world. The emphasis will be on how to integrate our practice of training the mind with every aspect of our life: work, family, friends, down-time etc.

How to Transform Your Life- With Loving Kindness
Classes last for an hour and a half. They are suitable for complete beginners and those with more experience of meditation. You’re more than welcome to come to individual sessions or attend the series as a whole.

About the classes:
These drop-in classes aim to teach effective, meditation-based solutions to everyday problems taken from the Kadampa Buddhist tradition. Everyone is welcome – these practical meditations can be practised by anyone, whether Buddhist or not. Each class consists of guided meditations and practical advice on how to maintain a positive mind, as well as an opportunity to ask questions. Classes are self-contained and you can drop in whenever you wish; there’s no need to book in advance, simply turn up and register when you arrive.
We meditate sitting on chairs and there is no physical exercise involved or any special clothing needed. These classes are suitable for everyone, including complete beginners.
