The aim of our drop-in classes is to present practical meditations that help us solve the problems of daily life and find a deep inner peace and contentment that remains with us out of meditation.
Each class consists of two guided meditations and an explanatory talk.
Anyone can practice meditation and everyone is welcome to attend. These classes are suitable for all levels of experience. There is no physical exercise involved and we meditate sitting on chairs (although you are most welcome to sit on the floor if you prefer).
Structure of the class:
- Short Buddhist chanted prayer to prepare for meditation
- Simple introductory guided meditation
- Teaching on how we can can use meditation in daily life
- Main meditation
- After the class everyone is welcome to stay for light refreshments
You can attend the course at any time, simply drop in whenever you can as each class is self-contained, or you can just come along to try a session. You do not need to book in advance, simply find a class near you and enrol when you arrive.
Individual classes costs £8 or £32 for a flexible 5 classes card.
