Living in the Moment
Half-Day Course | Maidstone
Saturday 21 March | 10am -1pm
Half-Day meditation workshop with Buddhist Teacher Chelvi Mailvaganan
People like to say we should live in the moment. But what does that actually mean? According to Buddha’s liberating teaching on subtle impermanence, the moment is all there really is!
This profound insight cracks open our customary way of looking at our livein the best possible way. Even a glimpse of subtle impermanence brings with it a letting go of our usual grasping at what we consider to be our problems and our limitations. It frees us to fully embrace every moment of our lives.
The half day will include guided meditations, teachings, discussion and time for Q&A.
Suitable for everyone.
This half-day meditation course will be led by Kadampa Buddhist Teacher, Chelvi Mailvaganan.
Chelvi has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism for nearly 20 years. She teaches from her own experience and wealth of knowledge, emphasising how to apply Buddhist methods to everyday life with insight and clarity.
Our classes are for everyone who is interested in learning how to meditate, regardless of background or belief. They are designed to give a broad introduction to Buddhist meditation, teachings, and practice. Everyone is invited to use whichever aspects of the teachings they find helpful.
