Overcoming Fear & Anxiety: The Buddhist Path to Inner Resilience

Wed 17 April, 7.30pm – 8.45pm

at The Picture House, Elwick Rd, Ashford, TN23 1AE

Join us for this very special Public Talk with Kadam Bridget Heyes, the UK NKT-IKBU National Spiritual Director.

Now more than ever so many of us suffer from fear, stress and anxiety as a result of an ever increasing complex and unstable world. The result is that we often feel uncertain, helpless and lost in terms of our future. The idea of having a clear path to a peaceful mind or purpose driven life seems so far off.

Buddha’s teachings however presents a clear and scientific method to completely transform our life challenges, enabling us to develop the inner strength and resilience to cope with whatever life throws at us.

In this very special Public Talk, Kadam Bridget Heyes will teach us some practical methods to cultivate this inner resilience through presenting new ways of thinking to help us train our minds. Perhaps most importantly, she will inspire us from her wealth of practical personal experience of successfully applying these methods and teachings in her own life.
