The Profound Path of Wisdom and Bliss

A Day Meditation Event in West Malling

Saturday 21 February | 10am – 5pm

Booking Online Required – Limited Capacity

Buddha’s Tantric teachings are his most profound and transformative instructions, known as the quick path to enlightenment. These teachings harness the power of imagination to bring about deep inner transformation and lasting inner peace.

Tantra especially develops both our wisdom and compassion until it gives rise to a bliss so powerful that it completely purifies our mind, swiftly leading us to enlightenment.

While the practice of Tantra is vast and profound, KMC Kent’s Principal Teacher James will offer a clear and practical introduction to it’s essential principles. Through engaging talks and guided meditations, he will explain what Tantra truly is and how we can begin to practise these special methods to purify our body and mind, allowing us to experience the bliss of genuine freedom from suffering.

You will learn how to:

  • Harness the imagination to produce powerful inner transformation

  • Discover methods for cultivating deep inner peace

  • Practise techniques that will help you quickly experience the bliss of real freedom from suffering

This course will also serve as a wonderful preparation for receiving Highest Yoga Tantra Empowerments at this year’s International Kadampa Summer Festival, should you wish to attend.

The Teacher

This meditation retreat will be led by James Baskerville, the Resident Teacher at KMC Kent.

James has been practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for over twenty years and has engaged in extensive meditation retreats, including silent retreat. He is especially known for his clarity, humour and inspirational presentation of Buddha’s teachings.
