Foundation Programme

Foundation Programme provides a unique opportunity to deepen our understanding and experience of the spiritual path through studying and meditating systematically with a group of like-minded people.

The purpose of the Foundation Programme is to provide a systematic presentation of particular subjects of Mahayana Buddhism and to enable practitioners to deepen their knowledge and experience of Buddhism.

Pure happiness can only be attained through developing our mind…Through improving our qualities of love, compassion and wisdom we can gradually eliminate all our suffering and problems, and eventually attain the everlasting joy of full enlightenment..

The Foundation Program is not a drop-in class, enrollment is required. Everyone is welcome to sign up and experience the benefits of attending a regular study program. Please contact info@meditateinkent.com for more information and to enrol.

Wisdom & compassion

Go Deeper

Deepen your experience and understanding of Buddha's teachings with the support of like-minded people. Each class consists of short chanted prayers, a guided meditation, teaching and discussion. The classes are systematic and interactive and students will find that their knowledge and wisdom grows week by week as a result.

Students sign up for a minimum of 3 months and commit to attend every study class to the best of their ability. Students are also expected to read ahead of class and prepare well in order to extract the most from the programme.

Enjoy unlimited access to all classes run by KMC Kent. Foundation Programme fees are included within monthly full membership (£40/month) as well as weekend courses and retreats.

The Foundation Programme is taught by Resident Teacher of KMC Kent, James Baskerville.

If you wish to deepen your experience of Buddha’s teachings and find real meaning in your life, you will enjoy the Foundation Program. Joining FP involves enrolling for a section of the book and trying to attend all the classes, one of which is an end-of-year exam. The programme is open to anyone interested in taking their meditation practice deeper.
