Meditations for Building Emotional Resilience

A 7  week series with Buddhist Teacher Monica in Sevenoaks

It is no secret that life can be challenging, with unexpected problems and unavoidable difficulties often leaving us feeling overwhelmed. To thrive amidst these adversities, we need the personal and mental ability to adapt and cope with stress. Imagine having the inner strength and emotional resilience to bounce back from whatever life throws at you.

Whether facing challenges in your personal life, family, or workplace, imagine feeling empowered rather than stuck. The good news is that this is possible for each of us. We can become stronger, more flexible, and more confident than we ever thought possible.

So how do we achieve this? In this series of classes, you will learn to cultivate inner strength through training your mind correctly. Discover new ways of thinking and relating to challenges, allowing you to not only cope but thrive.

Sessions last for an hour. They are suitable for complete beginners and those with more experience of meditation. Classes can be attended on a drop-in basis, as each session is self contained. Light refreshments will be served before or after the class.

About this series: This 7 week series aims to teach effective, meditation-based solutions to everyday problems taken from the Kadampa Buddhist tradition.
